Marc runs a one-man handyman and contracting operation out of Victoria, BC. He shows up on time, does the job right, and doesn't cut corners. I work with him and have seen that firsthand. His old brand was a serif wordmark with abstract red and grey paint motifs. It wasn't telling his story. I took it on myself to change that.
The direction came together quickly. Marc is old school in the best way, and vintage Americana mapped perfectly onto how he operates. It's a visual language built on craft, trust, and longevity. The same values he brings to every job.

This was a self-initiated project. Marc didn't ask for it, I just knew he deserved better. That kind of brief is freeing in some ways and harder in others. Every decision had to be justified on its own merits, not by a client's preferences. The result is a brand system that finally matches the quality of the work behind it.
